Arkansas Snap EBT
Welcome to SNAP EBT information page for the state of Arkansas.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), previously known as the Food Stamp Program, provides food assistance to qualified households in order to pay a portion of their food budget.
The benefits are delivered using an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. SNAP funds can be used to purchase qualified food items for eating at home, such as seeds and plants that generate food for SNAP households. Farmers markets, as well as qualifying shops, accept SNAP benefits. In addition to food aid, the program offers SNAP users nutrition instruction, employment and training, and, in certain circumstances, work experience.
