Colorado Snap EBT
Welcome to SNAP EBT information page for the state of Colorado.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) assists low-income Colorado households in purchasing food. It offers a monthly benefit that assists families and individuals in purchasing the food they require for optimal health.
The benefit is based on income, resources, and the number of people in the home. EBT cards, which work similarly to debit cards, are used to get the benefit and can be used at participating grocery stores. Shopping at participating markets and food retailers that offer the Double Up Food Bucks program doubles the value of the reward.
By increasing food supplies, SNAP helps low-income households save money for other necessities such as diapers and medication.
