Texas Snap EBT
Welcome to SNAP EBT information page for the state of Texas.
Texas SNAP, sometimes known as food stamps, provides cash assistance to low-income families in order for them to purchase the food they require for a healthy diet.
SNAP is frequently the first line of defense against hunger, giving critical assistance to the elderly, disabled, and unemployed.
SNAP benefits are distributed via an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, known as the “Lone Star Card” in Texas, which is accepted at most grocery stores.
